Weve been using Plan2Nav for one year for planning, and as a backup for our primary plotter with C-Map cards in the Pacific Northwest and Canada. Plan2Nav has worked well for this purpose.
However, the presentation of tides needs improvement. As a minimum, the units need to be defined. For the graph, height appears to be in meters and the time appears to be UTC. Sunset appears to be Pacific Standard Time. Begin Twilight appears to be UTC, and is actually Sunset, not Evening Civil Twilight.
Because of the issues noted above, we use "the tide book" instead of Plan2Nav for tide data.
