メーカーに問い合わせていたところ、この様な回答がありました。

Please uninstall the Plan2Nav app, clearing the cashe and memory, then install a new version of Plan2Nav from iTunes and then use the restore chart feature.

やはり更新版に問題があった様ですので、新しいチャートが配信されるのを待つしかない様です。
